Sara Maria Boueri is the Senior Human Resources Director at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. With a background in Organizational Psychology from the University of Sydney, Sara has been in HR leadership roles in local, multinational and government organizations for the past 10 years. Her diverse background and passion for making things more customer friendly and efficient were key factors that led her to think differently and frequently question what is often taken for granted, making her a pioneer in her field.

Sara has spearheaded a variety of cutting-edge Human Resources practices and policies, as well as ensuring employees wellbeing before, during and after the pandemic. It is her goal to investigate the purpose behind existing practices and to ensure they suit the current workforce interests and create an equitable work environment. The policies she implemented, such as the Lifestyle Credit, Hardship and Remote Work Policies, have been received with immense popularity from both internal customers as well as public opinion, and has earned the Authority recognition for being the Happiest Government Entity in Ras Al Khaimah, moving up 11 spots from the previous year
